I really should have thought to take a ‘before’ shot of this one, but this a great idea for any old sentimental hoody’s that you want to keep, but don’t have room for in the wardrobe.
I simply took the hood, stitched it closed and cut out the ears. Stuff with an old pillow, and use felt for the face. I even took the tag and some extra material for the wings.
And ‘ta-da’ – a beautiful toy owl 🙂

Don’t have enough money for expensive art supplies? Why not re-purpose all those lonely unmatched socks?!
These are my first two sock toys 😀 I have some stripey and spotty socks that I can’t wait to use next!
They’re quick and easy to make. All I needed was the socks, some felt, an old pillow, a needle and thread, and a glue gun.
There’s even a tutorial here. So cute!
